Grade on your own computer,
with Claude.
A free skill for Claude that does what this site does, without sending your document anywhere but your own Claude. Useful for work documents you can't upload to a website.
What you get back
- Word file: a copy with real Word comments on the exact words, and the grade at the top. Your text isn't changed.
- PDF or photo: the page marked up in pen, like the site. Pick red, blue or green ink.
- Optional: tell it what to focus on, or give it your own rubric.
Install
- Claude app: upload the zip as a custom skill in your settings. Code execution needs to be on.
- Claude Code: unzip it into
~/.claude/skills/.
Then ask in plain words: "Grade report.docx", "Grade this PDF in green ink, focusing on my argument", or "Is this post AI slop?"
Good to know
- It runs Python on your machine and installs a few common libraries the first time.
- The grading is done by whichever Claude model you're using, so results can differ a little from the site.
- It's the same grader as the site, slop detection included. Free, no account.
